Sector 9 Ginger downhill 2012
The Sector 9 Ginger 2012 is what Sector 9 really has going for them this year. With 5 plys of ultra thin maple for the core with 5 plys of carbon fiber on both the top and bottom of each side making this one of most durable if not the most durable board on the market. Also the Ginger has two micro drops on each side and since the concave doesn't give out throughout the board the micro drops create pockets for your feet which are not only extremely comfortable but really stick your feet to the board on those insane turns, or when trying to drift a corner. Also, like the other DHD's wheelbite is never a concern with these, and it's just an absolute tank, and comes with a barrel of wheelbase options so you can adjust it to your liking.
Sector 9 2012 brandy
The 2012 version of the Sector 9 Brandy 2012
is pretty much the same thing as the older version with a sexier pin up girl, some revised cuts for less chances of wheelbite, a little longer wheelbase/options for more versatility. Also, if I'm not mistaken the race concave has been improved as well so it's more consistent throughout the board so your feet aren't left out of the concave party anywhere on the board. These boards aren't called downhill board for nothing either, get one and find out what all of the hypes about!
Sector 9 2011 Natasha Downhill
The Sector 9 Natasha downhill
board is an amazing board especially for those new to racing because of the drop trough mounting which make pre drifting, and bombing a ton easier. But beware, once you're on one of these you may become over confident and really end up hurting yourself. With a lower center of gravity, and Sector 9's race concave this board is a complete monster. Also it's wheel cutouts make wheelbite virtually impossible although it makes shoebite possible, but once you get used to riding it your feet won't be going anywhere near the wheels anyway so it's a problem that's completely avoidable. Lastly, this board as well as our other 2011 DHD's are on sale. Be sure to pick one up before the die hard fans sniff out the low prices!
Sector 9 Annika downhill longboard
The Sector 9 Annika downhill
is yet another one of Sector 9's sought after racing boards, now, the big thing about this board compared to the others is the "swedish torpedo" double concave which provides a small pocket for the rear side of your toes and your heels. This really locks you in when cornering or when busting out a fatty slide. The Annika also comes with CNC cut wheel wells that are sure to make wheelbite a thing of the past. The pin up girls alone should be enough to buy one of these, but with all of the extras how could you really resist? All of our 2011 Sector 9 DHD's are on sale right now as well so be sure to check em out!
Sector 9 Roxanne 2011 downhill
The Sector 9 Roxanne DHD
is another great downhill board from Sector 9, with comes with its amazing race concave that many people have come to love and a lot of racers swear by. Also, there's no over engineering or anything like that, just a regular topmount that gives amazing leverage over the trucks especially when cornering. I know what all of the die hard drop through fans are saying right now though, "I'll get the wobs and die on a topmount!!!!!!" topmounts if you're not used to them can be a touch harder to ride but the length and long wheelbase on the Roxanne are sure to keep you locked in and give you more confidence when taking those 40+ mph hills.
Brandy downhill 2011
Yeah this is an older model, but they're still in our shop and I can't for the life of me figure out why. These boards are absolutely amazing for downhill and racing,no concerns about wheelbite, and beautiful pin up girls for graphics, what more could you ask!? With it's amazing race concave, and directional shape it's made for going nowhere but forward. Although the pointed nose and tail are susceptible to being smashed, the durability of these boards are far beyond par, and will definitely last you until you think you've run it into the ground, and then it'll last you some more. The Sector 9 Brandy downhill is an amazing choice for anyone that really wants a board that's designed purely for downhill and racing, it's also a great cruiser but there are cheaper boards unless you just want the sexy pin up girl on the bottom
.
Sector 9 Tiffany
The Sector 9 Tiffany
is awesome for anyone looking for a straight up downhill missile. Although it being asymmetrical can make it a little awkward for freeriding the micro drop in front and the W in the rear make this board really reliable when bombing hills and cornering especially at high speeds. The front microdrop is not only cool looking but gives you a place right behind the truck where it will give the most leverage as well as lock you in when cornering or drifting. Also the Tiffany comes with some pretty sickwidit wheel wells so you never have to worry about wheelbite even if you're running low degree trucks and tonka truck wheels.
